NEW FARR PLUNGER STUDY IN CANADA

As many of you know numerous studies have been done over the past 15 years with various oil companies throughout the world on the FARR Plunger.  Studies in 1999-2000 resulted in SPE Paper 68859 being presented at the Western Regional Meeting in 2001, which included well data gathered from Aera Energy, Chevron, and Berry Petroleum.  This study showed a more than 240% increase in pump run life with the FARR Plunger.

In 2005 PDVSA Venezuela completed a study of the FARR Plunger and showed nearly a 600% increase in run life using the FARR Plunger.

In 2011, Chevron in Indonesia submitted an SPE Abstract-145249-PP for the Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Expo, showing the FARR Plunger cut 12 well pulling jobs per month on average.  The FARR Plunger also increased the average pump run life by 137 days.  There were also significant reductions to health and safety incidents.

In 2013 a prominent California Oil Company completed a Six Sigma Study of the FARR Plunger showing a 300% increase in pump run life with the FARR Plunger.

This month a prominent Canadian Oil Company who began testing FARR Plungers in late 2013 has already surpassed a 200% increase in pump run life and those numbers are climbing every day.  They have already made the FARR Plunger the standard for sandy wells in all of their fields.
