Muth Pump will be exhibiting at the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference, May 22-24, in Bismarck, North Dakota.  Come visit us in booth #187 and see our live demo of our FARR Plunger pumping sand in a plastic tube and learn how you can cut well pulling cost by 50%.  The FARR Plunger is the only true sand plunger on the market that can be used with POC’s and timers and not get stuck.

The Bakken Shale Formation is arguably the hottest oil play in North America right now.  According to the Institute for Energy Research, North Dakota has seen its oil production jump 55% in a one year period, from December 2010 to December 2011.  With more than 6330 well in production today North Dakota is expected to surpass California and Alaska by 2013.

The Williston Basin Conference will have workshops that focus on the Bakken and Three Forks Formations. This workshop will focus on these unconventional resource targets as well as the Tyler and Spearfish Formations. It will highlight the recently proposed Pronghorn Member of the Bakken Formation.  There will be discussion on the stratigraphic framework, depositional models, and reservoir properties of these units.
